SCOTT PRICE - is the theatre instructor for
WCHS, and is originally from Covington, Ga. He has a BA in speech
and drama from LaGrange College and the MFA in Directing from
UNC-Greensboro. He has worked as an actor and director throughout
the east and southeast including Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee,
and South Carolina. He has taught theatre at the college and
high school level for 25 years in North Carolina and Georgia.
Many of his students have gone on to study theatre at the post
secondary level and work professionally in New York City, Manhattan,
Hollywood, Off-Broadway, and even as a movie critic for Entertainment
Weekly. Mr. Price is Co-Producer and Director of the Sandersville
Community Theatre.
SUSIE PRICE - is the Dance Instructor at
WCHS. A native of Cincinnati, she has a BFA in Theatre/Dance
Concentration from Northern Kentucky University and attended
graduate school at UNC-Greensboro. Her professional dance and
theatre experience includes training and performing in Cincinnati,
New York City, the ships of Norwegian Cruise Lines, Daytona
Beach, Ohio and Indiana. She has choreographed over 30 musicals
and is Co-Producer and choreographer for the Sandersville Community
Theatre.
KELLY ATKINSON - Kelly Atkinson was raised
in Sandersville and is a graduate of both Brentwood and the
University of Georgia. Kelly has 6 years of formal voice training
under the late Frank Marynell, 8 years of dance and gymnastics
training, and she participated in many pageants, talent contest,
and one act plays throughout her childhood. She was Maria in
the 2006 production of The Sound of Music. Kelly owns U.S. Anesthesia
here in Sandersville. Kelly is married to Michael Atkinson and
they have a 2 year old daughter, Ellie.
MARY GRACE KAY - Mary Grace Kay is a retired
choral director from WCHS, having taught for many years and
comes to SCT with experience as music director for several high
school productions under the direction of Scott Price. She comes
with acting and singing credentials, having performed in Music
Club Productions, in SCT productions of Oklahoma!, Hello, Dolly,
Anything Goes, The Dining Room, and as Mother Abbess in Sound
of Music. She is a graduate of Wesleyan College with a degree
in Music Education. She is a native of Sandersville and she
and husband Billy have three children: Adrienne (Smith), Ben,
and Thomas, and four grandchildren.
SAM GOODRICH - Sam Goodrich was born and raised
in Sandersville. Presently working at Citizens Bank of Washington
County. Acting experience: 44 years in retail. Stage acting
experience: The Kudzu series, as himself, Cole Porter's ANYTHING
GOES as Sir Evelyn. Sam is married to Paula and has one child
Deborah.
JOHN WILSON - John is a Sandersville native
and a veteran of local theatre. He has numerous credits in Sandersville
Music Club shows and SCT shows including the first SCT production,
The Dining Room. His most recent SCT roles include Cornelius
Hackyl in Hello Dolly and Captain Von Trapp in the Sound of
Music. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with
a degree in management and a Master of Business Administration.
He is married to Suzy (Croome) and they have one son, Drew.
DON YOUMANS - Don is a Savannah Georgia native
and found his way to Sandersville by way of the Tennille United
Methodist Church. A retired minister, Don has many acting and
singing credits and for the last two years has helped with the
Brentwood Theatre Program. From Horace Vandegelder in Hello
Dolly all the way back to Dark of the Moon, Don has been an
integral part of the SCT. Don is married to Mercedes and they
have four boys, Kevin, Jonathan, Jason and Brian.
ANNE KNOX HODGES - Anne Knox is a Sandersville
transplant moving her after her marriage to Allen. Her help
in getting the SCT started has been invaluable. She was instrumental
in getting the Grass Roots Art Grant for the SCT to help begin
the program. She and Allen have three children, Susannah, Allie
and Marshall.
SUSAN LEWIS - Susan was born in Atlanta but
has lived most of her life in Sandersville. Her experience includes
roles both with the SCT and the Bartow Community Theatre. She
played agoraphobic Fern in The View from Here, and the barber
in Truman Capote's Grass Harp. Her favorite role is skirt swisher
in any SCT production. Active in the DDA and historic preservation
Susan is glad to be a part of SCT.

CHOREOGRAPHER/CO-PRODUCER - Susie Price is

MUSIC DIRECTOR - Brad Meyer is the Chorus
Teacher and Director at WCHS. He holds a
degree in Music Education from the UGA. He is originally from
Alpharetta
and was an active musician in high school, participating in
the All-State
Chorus, the Governor's Honors Program, and numerous honor choirs.
His stage
experience includes leading roles in "Into the Woods","Grease",Peter
Pan,"
and Something's Afoot". Brad is the music director for
the Sandersville
Community Theatre.
SET DESIGNER - Sean Martin - Cartoonist, illustrator,
and scenic designer, Sean Martin (set design) is pleased to
be continuing his association with the Sandersville Community
Theatre for the fifth year now with RUMORS. His work has been
seen on stages throughout North America, as well as England,
France, Spain, and Turkey. Originally from Texas, he lived in
Canada for several years before returning to the North Carolina
area. His next production will be Maeterlink's THE BLUE BIRD,
for a company in Tehran, Iran.
