The cast of Rumors

Chris Gorman	Jessica Barlow Gennocro as Chris Gorman Jessica is a graduate of WCHS with many credits in theatre. She was Essie in You can't take it with you, the Good Witch in Dark of the Moon, and Annelle in Steel Magnolias. She attended Columbus State University and recently moved back from Atlanta with her two-year old son Conner. We can also see her acting on the silver screen in the movie Broken Bridges.
Ken Gorman	Derek Parten as Ken Gorman Derek is a new resident of Sandersville and is excited to play the part of Ken in his first production with SCT. He has been in many shows including Godspell, Anthing Goes, and The Blad Soprano, as well as playing Motel in Fiddler on the Roof. He attended Young Harris College and Valdosta State University and is currently a faculty member at Washington County High School.
Claire Ganz	Kelly Atkinson as Claire Ganz Kelly was raised in Sandersville and is a graduate of both Brentwood and the University of Georgia. Kelly has 6 years of formal voice training under the late Frank Marynell, 8 years of dance and gymnastics training, and she participated in many pageants, talent contest, and one act plays throughout her childhood. She was Maria in the 2006 production of The Sound of Music. Kelly is married to Michael Atkinson and they have a two year old daughter, Ellie.
Lenny Ganz	Sammy Severence as Lenny Ganz Sammy will be marking his second production with SCT. He played a hilarious Moonface in last summer's production of ANYTHING GOES. He made it a family affair by joing veteran SCT actor daughter Bethany in the musical. By day Sammy is in law enforcement but we believe his true calling is the theatre. Sammy lives in Davisboro with his wife and three children.
Cookie Cusack	Mary Grace Kay as Cookie Cusack Mary Grace is a retired choral director from WCHS, having taught for many years and comes to SCT with experience as music director for several high school productions under the direction of Scott Price. She comes with acting and singing credentials, having performed in Music Club Productions, in SCT productions of Oklahoma!, Hello, Dolly, Anything Goes, The Dining Room, and as Mother Abbess in Sound of Music. She is a graduate of Wesleyan College with a degree in Music Education. She is a native of Sandersville and she and husband Billy have three children: Adrienne (Smith), Ben, and Thomas, and four grandchildren. She is proudly among the "eldest" of the cast of Rumors and plays the part of Cookie in this production.
Ernie Cusack	Sam Goodrich as Ernie Cusack Sam was born in Sandersville. Presently working at Citizens Bank of Washington County. Acting experience: 44 years in retail. Stage acting experience: The Kudzu series, as himself, Cole Porter's ANYTHING GOES, as Sir Evelyn.
Callie Cooper	Cecille Brown as Cassie Cooper Cecille has performed in Community Theater's productions of The Dining Room, Dark of the Moon and Lil Abner as well as in the Sandersville Music Club's Kudzu 2000. Cecille is employed at the Geo. D. Warthen Bank as the Morgage Loan Officer.
Glenn Cooper	John Wilson as Glenn Cooper John is a Sandersville native and a veteran of local theatre. He has numerous credits in Sandersville Music Club shows and SCT shows including the first SCT production, The Dining Room. His most recent SCT roles include Cornelius Hackyl in Hello Dolly and Captain Von Trapp in the Sound of Music. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in management and a Master of Business Administration. He is married to Suzy (Croome) and they have one son, Drew.
Officer Welch	Susan Farris as Officer Welch Susan has proudly been a part of many SCT shows including Oklahoma! and Hello Dolly. She teaches at T.J. Elder Middle School and is happily married to Bill Farris. She is the proud mother of two, Joe and Katie.
