Welcome to the inaugural issue of IN THE SPOLIGHT, the
quarterly newsletter of the Sandersville Community Theatre. This is
your window to see into the workings of the Sandersville Community Theatre.
In our issues we will inform, educate and keep you up to date on all
the happenings at our theatre. To make the newsletter more fun see if
you can recognize all the songs that came from different musicals in
this newsletter. Hint: there are 14. We encourage you to be a part of
our theatre group and we welcome suggestions on how we can make ourselves
better.

Auditions for our Summer Musical Production of
SHOWBOAT will be held in April. Mark the dates on your calendar
now ,Monday April 28, 2008, Tuesday April 29, 2008 and Wednesday
April 30, 2008. 7:00 to 9:00 PM |

Season tickets, single tickets, pairs of tickets, groups of tickets.
We got ‘em any way you want ‘em. Just PLEASE buy ‘em
and make your friends buy ‘em too. That way you can sit
next to your BFF.

We have a fundraising campaign going for the first quarter. When
you get your letter, get that checkbook out and use lots of zeros.
Ex. 10.00, 100.00, 1000.00 you get the idea!

Consider making a contribution now and ear mark it for the building
fund. We desperately need a cultural arts center here in Sandersville.
We have a vision for it. ( Ask us we’ll tell ya!) Yes, we
need more money to make it happen.

The butcher , the baker, the candlestick maker, we need all kinds
of people to help. Don’t think you have a talent, well hold
on there, we can teach you one.

The next big date for your calendar is auditions for SHOWBOAT.
Sometime in May, Then SHOWBOAT , the production June 26,27,28,29
of 2008. Next, Annie Camp, then auditions for ANNIE in the fall
and ANNIE, the production December 4,5,6,7.

LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE OF YOUR LIFE -ENDOWMENT
We have a start, we need to raise $100,000.00. ( Just a one with
lots of zeros.) If everyone pitches in we can get there quickly.
Help us please get a home. That would mean 5 or 6 live theatre
productions a year. IMAGINE THAT!

Just who are these people anyway? Well. . . here goes.
Kelly owns her own company and is married to Michael. They have a daughter
Ellie 1 ½ years old.
Jessika works for the judge and has a son Conner.
Cecile is an officer at the Bank and is married to Billy.
Susan teaches school is married to Bill and they have two children,
Joe and Katie
Sam works at another Bank and is married to Paula. He has one child
Deborah.
Mary Grace is retired and married to Billy. They have three children,
Adrienne, Ben and Thomas.
Derek is a teacher too. He is married to Crystal.
Sammy is a police officer and is married to Kelly, they have three children
Bethany, Caleb and Peyton.
John works for a big trucking company and is married to Suzy, They have
a son Drew.
